what MTAS was and what its equivalent is now and everything else you need
to know about improving your chances of getting your choice FY1 job.
2. Preparing for work
Shan Sadik talks about the FY1 contract for this coming year, basically
all you need to know before you start your job in august, also very good
information for future FY1s.

Intercalation Talk
A chance to come and find out all about intercalating...

Can't decide whether to intercalate or not? Want to find out more about different options? Not even sure what "intercalating" means..?
This is an event put on by Leeds BMA ISC. Several students will be sharing their thoughts on intercalating, including short talks and presentations on some of the various options. This will also include people sharing why they chose not to intercalate. It's a great way to find out more about intercalating whatever year you're in.

Successful campaign on immigration for international medical students
This latest news update describes our campaign to persuade government to allow international students who have completed their undergraduate training in the UK to remain in the UK for their postgraduate training.

You can get careers advice and guidance on medical ethical issues. You also have free access to the British Medical Journal, pension information (seems like a long way off, but worth knowing), and Student BMA News. Free access to BMJ Learning, gives you access to a wide range of interactive learning modules (good for revision).
